Re: [SPAM]RE: [CentralTexasGeocachers] Geocaching as a vacation draw
- Don't forget the radio ads for Lost Pines Resort in Bastrop - I noticed that they mentioned "GPS Scavenger Hunting" as an activity in their ad on 95.5 FM the other morning!Heather----- Original Message -----From: Perrine, JulieSent: Thursday, February 21, 2008 8:26 AMSubject: [SPAM]RE: [CentralTexasGeocachers] Geocaching as a vacation draw
Yes, and have you noticed that state tourism bureaus have started placing ads on GC.com?

I was reading the AAA Texas member magazine and browsed the text
associated with an attractive-looking resort ad. I was pleasantly
surprised to see geocaching featured in a list that included boating,
fishing, horseback riding, camping, hiking, and wildlife watching.
Feels like the game really is coming into its own to be featured in
The ad was for DeGray Lake Resort State Park in Arkansas
(degray.com) , with which I have absolutely no connection!!
