I was on Hairy Man road on the way to work early one morning, it was wet and slippery. The ass end of my truck has no weight to it and when I shift it tends to slip when the roads are wet. Started to slide, corrected, found myself in oncoming traffic, turned to get out of traffic, stated to slide again the sliding started to get worse and fishtailed into a tree. Now I'm avoiding Hairy Man (I should have known better just by the name. I avoid hairy men as it is!!) and spending the extra on the toll ways to get to work. Much faster and safer!

      Truck is totaled.

I'm fine. Just slightly bruised and a bit sore.

GPS is the third item I grabbed when I bailed out  (all the smoke from the air bag and the smell I thought there was a fire. Grabbed my jacket, radio, purse and palm pilot/gps)

We have a rental and the insurance company should decide what they're going to do soon. Then it's off to buy a new truck.
