Re: [CentralTexasGeocachers] Austin Museum Day
- I have a membership card to the Wildflower Center that allows me to take 2 guests free every time I go.So if any of you missed out going to get GiGi's GREAT multi at the Wildflower Center (not to mention the BUGS display) and the $7 admission charge is keeping you away, get in touch with me. Starting in October, I can arrange to be free most Friday mornings and quite a few Friday afternoons. We could meet near the wildflower Center & then go in together with you as my guests. I love going there so I don't mind going multiple times. Pat & I were the guinea pigs for this cache before it was published, but 2 stages have been moved since then, so the first time through it will be a new experience for me.Mary Beth(emmy-n-sapphie)----- Original Message -----From: Julie PerrineSent: Sunday, September 10, 2006 6:59 AMSubject: Re: [CentralTexasGeocachers] Austin Museum DayJust my luck, today will be the day the Wildflower Center is free and I'm not going to be around to run in and grab that cache in there! We're on a cache dache to Chicago because I found $90 round trip airfare. If we find 180 caches, that's only 50 cents per cache....MUCH cheaper than $8 for one! Oops, GiGi is going to kill me for saying that! Of course, I neglected to count the hotel, the rental car, the food, the gas, the parking, etc. etc. But then you get to offset that by how much fun we're having in Chicago, so it works out GREAT!We found an APE cache yesterday and today we're hitting the road to get caches in Michigan, Indiana and Wisconsin.Sorry I'm going to miss the museum day because there are several I've been wanting to go to, with the Blanton at the top of the list. Another time....JulieMrs. Captain Picard

In the event any of you were interested…
Tomorrow (Sunday) is Austin Museum Day and admission is free to all of the participating museums. I, for one, will be hitting as many as I can!
