      http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CentralTexasGeocachers/files/ACA_2005/nominee_list.htm

There will be about 30 days or so before the voting is opened up.  This should allow time for everyone to visit the caches on the list, if they have not already done so.

The nomination banner is at http://img.geocaching.com/user/787d2399-5619-49cd-bc9a-254db37de2cd.jpg, so the caches that have been nominated can add it to their cache pages.

Nice idea to use the GC Bookmarks Chris - means the nominated caches automatically get a kind of mini-banner in the bookmark listing on the right of the cache

For those of you who own caches which were nominated but are
HTML-challenged, the following code can be used to insert the graphic
into your cache page. The below code will insert the image onto its
own 'line' on the cache page (no text on the right or left of the
image) and the graphic will be centered.

          <p align="center"><img
          src="http://img.geocaching.com/user/787d2399-5619-49cd-bc9a-254db37de2cd.jpg"></p>

Make sure the HTML checkbox is checked when editing your page to
          insert the graphic.

Thanks to everyone (besides me!!!) who nominated Playgrounds.  It was a wonderful surprise to see it on the list.  For the rest of you -- even though the first playground is under construction, I've updated the cache page with the missing info.  Disregard the price of gas and go find it!

I've got a quick question.  I noticed some of the caches that we nominated
were not listed.  Were some eliminated?
              Thanks,

In years past, a cache had to have at least two nominations to be on the final ballot.

I'm a little confused on the nominations (trust me confusion is a

nominations. Can someone explain the 2006 cache nominations?

                      Thanks,

It was a wonderful surprise to see it on the list. For the rest of
you -- even though the first playground is under construction, I've
updated the cache page with the missing info. Disregard the price

                          Chris,

Would it be possible to create a bookmark list with ALL the nominees?
I've not done all of them (HUH? you say!) and would like to create a
pocket query with them all. I suppose that would create additional
                          stuff on each cache page.

Is there a way to create a query of a bunch of bookmark lists instead
of having to create a separate query for each list?

I thought the eligibility boundary was the Travis County Line. The Texas Challenge 2006 event was in Burnet County.

Texas Challenge 2006 should not be nominated for 2005 Austin Cache Awards. Save this superb event for 2006 Austin Cache Awards. If it is, please clarify that.

It was supposed to be Travis and contiguous counties, which would include Burnet County, but I noticed that some nominees are from even farther away than that.
