Kathy Tabb: "Thoughts from a Hatha Teacher - Finding My Balance in Western Yoga"
Kathy Tabb is currently a 500 Hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher and is co-owner of Whole Life Yoga and Health Center. She began her yoga teacher training after practicing asana for over 12 years. Her teachers include: Jacqueline Heisel, of Frog Lotus Yoga, Shiva Rea of Prana Flow Yoga, Paul Gallagan of Centered Yoga of Thailand and Swami Jnaneshvara Bharati. Kathy believes in creating an asana flow that can be both invigorating and relaxing, with a major emphasis on the breath and modifying poses to meet all students' needs. Her current focus is on developing classes, and workshops, that emphasize the 8 limb path of yoga, or Raja Yoga. Her teaching includes gentle and vigorous asanas, pranayamas, and meditation techniques, all with a focus on helping students cultivate their own yoga practice, including meditation. She most recently had the honor of spending 9 weeks at Swami Rama's ashram, Sadhana Mandir, in Rishikesh India.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
The Center for Non-Dualism is a community for people who share the
Non-Dual perspective of Religion, Yoga, and Philosophy. The purpose
of the Center is to maintain a loving fellowship and to provide a
nurturing environment that is conducive to learning and experiencing
the oneness of Non-Dualism.
Non-Dualism is the orientation that there is one absolute reality
without a second, and that each of us, although an individual person,
is one with that reality, just as a wave is not separate from the
ocean. The emphasis of our Center is on the practices such as
contemplation and meditation which lead to the direct experience of
this Non-Dual reality.
