Group Description

This is a group for research and discussion of the hate group activity known as cause stalking as well as other forms of group stalking. Because this crime also occurs in the context of certain other types of 21st century crimes, discussion and research is also included.

Please visit the extensive LINKS section.

Online resources on this subject tend to be pretty bizarre. For some solid treatment of the subject of extremist cause stalking, check out these publications:
* Chapter on "Cause Stalking" in the book Stopping a Stalker, by Captain Robert L. Snow (1998 Plenum)
* Cause Stalking, by David Lawson (2007, Scrambling News) This is an updated version of Terrorist Stalking in America. (Presently out of print; if this changes members will be notified)
* Targets of Hatred: Anti-Abortion Terrorism, by Patricia Baird-Windle and Eleanor J. Bader (Palgrave 2001).

Many of the messages posted to this group in the first couple years (2004-2006) were later found to be written by trolls, stalkers, and pranksters. For this reason, in July 2006 this group became a read-only list. NOTE: Use caution when contacting or befriending people who post on forums about this subject.

Although the owner of this list strongly recommends the book Cause Stalking, this list is not related to the book that shares its same name. Nor is it connected with any other web presence with that name.

Note: Because of the nature of this group, the owner of the group will not subscribe or unsubscribe an individual. If you wish to join please click on the "Join this group" button above this description.
