He can’t ‘have’ her, he can’t allow himself to enjoy being with her too much – but for every moment he does have, every touch he tempts himself with, he lives in it. Everything they do is significant... When he touches her face, or takes her in his arms, or tempts fate by kissing her... It’s all a test of resolve and I found it to be very sensual.
