      We brought in a gorgeous
black/chocolate neutered bobtail short/med length hair adult male cat that was
roaming the local (Woodbridge) area about a month ago. We listed him as lost in
Craigs list, Petfinders and paid for an ad in the Potomac News. When we
received no replies we relisted him as adoptable including sending out emails
and posting him on facebook. The only replies have been spam ones.
Our vet estimates his age to be around 5. Unfortunately someone had him declawed

so he would need to be an indoor cat - but he enjoys a walk outside on a leash.
He readily accepts both collar and leash, patiently sitting still while you put
them on. Although he doesn't 'heel' on the leash he certainly behaves like a
gentleman. As to his personality...he is almost dog-like (no offense to the
feline lovers out there) in that he thrives on human company...he seems to be
very tolerant with just a really sweet disposition. He has not been exposed to
other animals so we can't speak to his tolerance of other cats or dogs. He
appears to be a mix of some sort - possibly an American Bobtail or
Pixie-Bob. Unfortunately we can not keep him at our work place and have
exhausted our resources of finding him a forever home. Were hoping you
will be able to help us by taking him in and finding that special someone for
him. Our work number is 703-680-9494 or if after hours you may reach
Chantell at 571-247-2077. Thank you for any help you may be.

You might call Stacey Foster who breeds pixies at Potomac Pixies in Virginia. 703-794-7467, fosterpotomac@aol.com. She might have ideas about placements.
