Feels abandoned and forgotten by the thousands he taught, knew and mentored. **TRAVEL/ACCOMODATIONS NEGOTIABLE** Approximately 3 workdays. Rate $1000/3 days (plus agent fee)
Female, mid 70's-80's (African American), Timothy's wife. A retired University administrator. In good health, nice sense of humor. Loving. Dealing the best she can with the post stroke life of her husband. Approximately 2 workdays. Rate $400/day (plus agent fee)
Female, Late 60's (ROLE RECENTLY CHANGED TO AFRICAN AMERICAN) longtime female companion and now wife to Martha. Derives much of her identity from being a care giver. This identity gets challenged when she is unable to protect Martha from the effects of type 2 diabetes. Approximately 3 workdays. Rate $1000/3 days

CASTING FOR VIN MORREALE'S LATEST COMEDY!
The world premiere of Vin Morreale's latest play, THE 'KISS ME' CURSE, will kick off the 2016-2017 season of the Little Colonel Players in September 2016.
Auditions will be held April 1st from 4-7pm and April 3rd from 1-7pm at the theater! Cold readings from the script. Bring head shots and resumes. Show dates: September 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25.
THE STORY: At first, it didn’t seem so bad. Every touch of her lips becomes the kiss of true love. But after thirteen deceased husbands and a line of spellbound men eager to be next, frequent widow Angie Buckner desperately tries to find a cure for her ‘Kiss Me’ Curse.
CHARACTERS:
ANGIE – 27-‐35 years old, Caucasian. Angie is attractive, and alternately sad, funny and flirtatious, as you can imagine anyone with a Kiss Me Curse would be.
GENE – 30s-‐40s, any ethnicity. Sensitive, a failed dreamer who is Angie’s protector. SNYDER – 30s, any ethnicity. Sharp, sarcastic and usually in control.
WADDY– 30s -‐50s. any ethnicity. Fast-talking fertilizer salesman.
SLIGO– 40s-‐50s, Caucasian. Mobster who hides his cuddly side.
MAGGIE – 20s-‐30s. . any ethnicity. Dark and mysterious. And jealous of Angie.
JARED – 20’s, any ethnicity. The brain-‐deficient, high school crush.
NARRATOR – 30s-‐50s, any ethnicity. A folksy, ‘Our Town’ type narrator.
NOTE: Most actors will play multiple roles in this fun-‐filled, fast-‐paced comedy.

This special FIVE HOUR WORKSHOP will teach you how to quickly pick up a scene and perform with only a few minutes' review. Everyone who attends will take part in a variety of scenes with multiple acting partners. Lots of fun for new and professional actors alike. We will also cover auditioning techniques, proper video submissions, plus answer questions about the difference in auditioning styles for regional and major markets. These Burning up The Stage Workshops are open to new and experienced actors, age 14 through 75.
The cost of this 5-hour workshop is normally $75 at the door, or $50 with advance payment. However, thanks to the generous donation of a local actor, the entire workshop will now be ONLY $25 for participants. The unnamed actor's scholarship fund will cover the rest.
We will concentrate on scene work for this special workshop. New scenes are written for every workshop, so you are always working with fresh audition material. Bring headshots and resumes for advice on how to improve your impact with agents and directors.
