VSM Entertainment & Casting has been hired to provide Extras & Background Casting for the movie JL RANCH, starring Jon Voight (Mission Impossible, Midnight Cowboy), Teri Polo (Meet The Fockers) and Steven Bauer (Scarface). This Western-themed feature film will shoot in Kentucky beginning January 6, 2016.

We are seeking interesting character faces, especially those with Western, Country or Rural/Small Town looks, 30 -70 years old. Also seeking those who can pass for Mexican or Native American.

Cut 2 The Chase Productions is casting for the indie feature, MARVELOUS MANDY.

Down-on-his-luck single dad Harvey Fowler gets a much boost when he meets children's author Mandy Simpkins, author of the Marvelous Mandy storybooks that his daughter loves. Their beautifully vivacious relationship seems like it couldn't get any more perfect, until Harvey gains some disturbing insights into her fractured mental state. When cracks start to show through her dreamlike personality, Harvey learns who she really is...and just how vicious she'll become to maintain the illusion of her perfect life.

Character Needs/Descriptions:
SPEAKING ROLES
1. Clementine: age 8-10. Harvey's daughter. Sweet, precocious and shy girl who loves escaping to the world of books.
2. Skyler, 25-35. Cashier at the bookstore where Mandy works. They have a deep rivalry that stems from Mandy's cold and belittling attitude.
3. Jed: 25-35.  Skyler's boyfriend.
4. Charlie, 25-35. A customer who has a crush on Mandy. Short, ratlike and sloppy.
5. Cassidy, 16, Clementine’s babysitter
6. Asian Man, 20-40. Short-tempered, shaggy-haired regular at Café.
7. School Receptionist: 40-60. School receptionist who signs Clementine out.
NON-SPEAKING
1) Heavy Women: 20's.
2) Doctor's Office Receptionists: 20's
3) Prince Charming: 20's-30's. Hallucinatory Prince who dances with Mandy.
4) Barista: 20's. Cute and out of Harvey's league.
5) Police Officers. Total of 3 needed.
