Roberta grew up in a creative home; her father Robert Gregory wrote Disney comic book stories.  She learned to read before she went to school and her creativity grew.

In 1989 she moved to Seattle and soon Fantagraphics Books was publishing Naughty Bits  The world was introduced to Midge McCracken aka Bitchy Bitch and has never been the same.  Midge has appeared in comic books, a weekly comic strip, a stage production, and in the animated tv show “Life’s A Bitch”.

Roberta has been honored with the Cartoonists Northwest Golden Toonie AwardSan Diego ComiCon Intl’s Inkpot, and the Haxtur Award (for humor!) from the Salon Internacional del Principado de Asturias in Spain.  Her fans span the globe and she is recognized everywhere she travels (Spain, Finland, Sweden, Clallam Bay).
