      Other guilty secrets included boiling more water than needed, leaving
      electrical chargers plugged in, forgetting to turn lights off and using
      the car for short journeys.

        Our kids are obese now and apparemntly this will be the first generation that may die before their parents do.

          parking with screens for all with four car families the norm living in
          ³snout homes², a massage mall (basically in-town brothels), all public
          houses licensed 24 hours with pole dancing rooms (no smoking), one large
          in-town drive-in big box supermarket, debt-counselling centre with screens
          and health club mall, buses for the elderly and disabled with piped music
          and screens showing infotainment by customer demand, ecological education
          centres with play parks and rain forest simulations (with screens), drive in
          mortuary and multi-denominational worship suites (with screens) with
          mountain bike circuits, fat farms and other self-help camps according to
          demand.

            Nice one Simon, you must have been reading JG Ballard's latest-Kingdom
            Come? Last month I read several reviews of it when it came out but
            havent got round to reading it yet. Your rather Ballardian piece
            reminds me to get round to the library.
