      Subject: [CalontirDance] Recorded music?

Might I ask, what resources are available out there?

Are there websites currently with legally distributable good quality
      recordings of different dance pieces?

I have a good selection of dance pieces from our previous dance
instructor, but it's a mix of really really over-compressed and
artifacted music with many many ripping errors (jitters, chatters and
skips) that has in no way been normalized.

Is there a standard set of CDs that people recommend that I could buy
(hopefully at a very kind price) from different sources? I really like
some of these recordings, and would like to find them in a less 3rd or
4th hand rip from CD, compress, burn to CD, rip from CD, compress, burn
      to CD, rip from CD.....

I'm in a bit of a bad situation in that as a sound engineer, things that

don't bother most people really make my ears bleed. I can't enjoy them
as it's like fingernails on a chalkboard. Would that I could turn that
      off.

I'm willing to pay for shipping and media if people have CDs they can
send me that are of both decent quality and not-illegal in nature as
      well if anyone is willing.

A while back he was considering it. However I moved out of Ansteorra and
              never heard whether it happened.

I've even seen a CD with him playing, but it wasn't dance music.
