Well... to be completely honest two were drag-along spouses :) One
being the 'husband of hostess', but all are willing to participate.
As you might imagine, scheduling is proving to be a real bear.
Couple of questions.
The first is, does CalontirDance serve double-duty for Music as well? I
think I've always seen musical discussions here, but I didn't know if
there was a list more specifically for vocal and non-dance instrumental.
Second is... I've the Crystal Ball (and corrections) and Lilies Dance
music packets to give my guys, but for vocal I've scanned in the vocal
music I had from when Countess Alix was the head honcho. The question
is.... A lot of it is copied out of copyrighted materials. Like the
Dance Music, I'd like to give it to folks electronically and ask them to
print it on their own dime as for just last night for 8 copies of a
small selection of dance, vocal, inst , & fingering charts the bill came
to over $40*****. What do you folks do. Do you think it's safe putting
it in a password secured directory at an unpublished/linked web address
distributed through private email (i.e., not yahoogroups) ??
The third is more for Mistress Conna, but anyone's welcome to field it.
A while back I was discussing getting this group going with you and have
since lost my inbox. You shared a link with me that had already done
much of what I had planned to do.. I.e., re-notate a lot of this messy
vocal music and then export to parts, both as sheets and as midi. Might
I trouble you for that site(s) again?
***** I was shocked to find that Kinkos is charging $.08 a sheet for b&w
copies. I was relieved to find that there was a price break if you
printed double-sided. Only $.16 a sheet!!!!!!!!!!!! What gives? The
paper isn't part of the cost at all????? Very irritated.
