The size of the Cad is very close to that of a Ford 460. The folowing
web site contains information about modification of shock towers for
a 69 Mustang for a Big Block Ford. This same upgrade can be done for
puttting a 500 Caddy into the car. Keep in mind that the Caddy is
much lighter than the Ford, so not all suspension set up
recomendations apply. The following information was posted on the MTS
message board by Ted, who has a Caddy powered T-Bird. Thanks Ted, and
      good luck with your swap.

A while back someone asked about putting a Cad in a 69 Mustang and he
was told it was too wide and he would have to modify the shock towers.
I found a web-site that tells you how and it does not look that hard.
