CYSC MISSION
CYSC's mission is to build a community of players and parent volunteers that focus on the development of the WHOLE student-athlete.

CYSC APPROACH
CYSC is a non-profit and volunteer-based organization. We offer professional coaches with a friendly, talented group of players and parents. We are passionate to support the growth of the players as individual and as a team. CYSC looks forward to developing your son into the best soccer player he can be.

CYSC offers an individualistic training approach utilizing proven strategies including the Fiorentina method and Coerver coaching, as well as incorporating iSoccer assessments which have proven to take players to the next level. CYSC focuses on player development, not on competition and winning. We emphasize fundamentals such as ball mastery(touch), feints, off-the-ball movement, and individual offensive and defensive tactics. The focus on winning creates strategies that stagnates youth technical development. Many competitive teams rely on athleticism as their game-plan, and though these strategies work at an early age, players pay a great price in the long-term technical development. CYSC is shifting focus to the players and building passion for the game.

CYSC is family.
Parents of CYSC players have witnessed the various issues of competitive teams, and proactively formed a club to take care of their player's development. Families have created closer ties and share many activities and events together that extend far past soccer. We understand that it takes a village to raise a child, and parents are concerned with developing the WHOLE child. One area of proactive development includes the formation of Math and Science clubs by our parents. Parents also do their part and volunteer as assistant coaches and board members of the club.
