This is a great opportunity to hear national speakers including scientists from Glenn Research Center (Dr. Goeff Landis who used to be a member of NIRA among others), Mike Griffin (former NASA administrator), George Whitesides (CEO of Virgin Galactic), and others.
Saturday, August 7, is Mars Camp which is free and open to the public. There are many organizations participating in that event including the University of Dayton Advanced Rocket Team which might be of interest to CSAR members. In fact, the whole event might be of interest to CSAR members if you would care to pass the information along.
It is very good fortune that this event is so close at hand.
