        This year’s judge is Dick Allen, whose seventh collection of poetry,Present Vanishing, will be published by Sarabande Books in October, 2008.

          Submit: 16-24 pages of poetry. Do not place identifying information on your chapbook manuscript. Put it in the submission form instead.

          This year's judge, John L. Stanizzi, is the author of Ecstasy Among Ghosts, Sleepwalking, Dance Against the Wall and After the Bell.  He is the coordinator for Hill-Stead Museum’s Fresh Voices Poetry Competition for high school poets.

            This year's judge is Vivian Shipley. She published two books of poetry in 2015: Perennial (Negative Capability Press) and The Poet (Louisiana Literature Press). Ms. Shipley has received the Paterson Literary Review Award for Lifetime Service to Literature, the Library of Congress's Connecticut Lifetime Achievement Award for Service to the Literary Community, and the Connecticut Book Award for Poetry two times.
