      Winner receives $200 and 30 copies. Entry fee $15 payable to DPC. Submit
      20-24 pages of poetry, contents page, table of contents, acknowledgements, 2 cover
      pages (1 with contact info). No manuscripts will be returned. No Electronic
      Submissions Accepted. Judged anonymously. The chapbook will be saddle-stitch
      bound on white paper with a glossy cover. Copies of last year's winning chapbook
      are sold out! Last year's winner was Sharon L. Charde for her chapbook "Four
      Trees Down From Ponte Sisto".

      Deadline March 1, 2008. Deadline Extended!

          Winner will be invited to read from his/her chapbook as the feature at a DPC First Friday reading



          Rules
          Manuscript should contain 16 to 20 pages of poetry: any form, any theme
          Each poem should appear on a separate page
          Manuscript should include Table of Contents
          Manuscript should include Acknowledgements page if applicable
          Manuscript should contain no names or identifying material
          Manuscript should have two covers: one with title only, one including name and
          contact information (Please include email; winner will be contacted by
          email.)
          Each manuscript should be accompanied by a $15 reading fee
          Manuscript need be accompanied by SASE only if a list of finalists is desired—

          Alan Berecka is a New Yorker transplanted to Texas. He resides in Sinton and is a reference librarian at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi. Alan is the author of three collections of poetry: The Comic Flaw (neoNuma Arts),Remembering the Body (Mongrel Empire Press, 2011-- winner of the Eric Hoffer Award) and With Our Baggage(Lamar University Press, 2013).
