      The categories are:
      Fiction: Normandie Ward Fischer, Executive Editor, Wayside Press, has a knack for editing and looks forward to seeing your work. She was the Carteret Writers’ November 12th, 2012 speaker.
      Flash Fiction: Jim Dautremont is a renaissance man. His background is in engineering and the law; however, he taught English and writing at ECU.
      Poetry: Maureen Wartski writes haiku as well as prose. She is a successful author of multiple books! Maureen will teach the Carteret Writers’ March workshop.
      Non-fiction: Dale E. Swan, PhD, American Economic History from UNC-CH, has written various types of non-fiction over his career.
      Children: Donna Earnhardt’s picture book Being Frank, released in October 2012, garnered rave reviews.
