Hurricane Sandy benefit anthology seeks submissions
- It is safe to say that Sandy has become an instantly recognizable word naming both the destructive power of nature, and the human misery that this destructive power brings. At a time when many are suffering so greatly and losing so much, others need to be able to provide food to restore, shelter to protect, warmth to enliven, love to sustain… and a smile to help to carry on.
OH SANDY! An Anthology of Humor for a Serious Purpose is where you can add something meant to bring a smile to someone who needs one, and where you can find something to smile about.
Until December 31, we are accepting submissions of humorous fiction and non-fiction—up to 3000 words—that are about experiencing a disaster, surviving a hurricane, or living in New Jersey (a lot can be said humorously about New Jersey without being cruel) to publish in OH SANDY! An Anthology of Humor for a Serious Purpose. Submissions not accepted for the anthology may still be posted on the website with your approval.
