      Swan Scythe Press, founded by poet Sandra McPherson, now edited by James DenBoer, announces its 2012 Poetry Chapbook contest. Submissions will be accepted between January 15, 2012 - June 15, 2012. Any poet writing in English is eligible to submit. Winner receives $200 and 25perfect-bound chapbooks. Submit manuscripts to editor Robert Pesich, 1468Mallard Way, Sunnyvale, CA 94087. There is a reading fee of $17, checks payableto Swan Scythe Press. Manuscripts should include from 20 to 32 pages of poetryand a table of contents. We require a title page with author’s name, address,phone number and email address. We also require another title page to beincluded without any identifying information, book title only. Do not send a cover letter or bio. Simultaneoussubmissions are acceptable as long as you inform us if your manuscript winsanother prize or is accepted for publication elsewhere.             Swan Scythe Press is now accepting manuscripts for its 2017 poetry chapbook contest. 
            Entry fee: $18.00 (payable to Swan Scythe Press). Deadline: June 15th, 2017.
             
            Manuscript length should be 20-32 pages.
             
            Submissions should be paginated and include a table of contents.
             
            Simultaneous submissions are permitted as long as you inform us if your manuscript wins another prize or is accepted for publication elsewhere.
