The Department of English Language & Literature at the University of South Carolina (http://www.cas.sc.edu/engl/) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professorship in poetry. We seek a talented poet with a significant publication record who will be an active participant in our MFA program. Requirements include an MFA in hand, at least one book (published or under contract), and the demonstrated ability to teach poetry at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate can expect to teach two courses per semester and assist in the operation of the MFA program, including serving on thesis committees.
