The Department of English seeks candidates for a tenure-track faculty position in film and creative writing, with experience teaching expository writing, to start September 1, 2011.
Candidates must be able to teach cinema arts, screenwriting and creative writing (fiction preferred, poetry and creative nonfiction possible), as well as expository writing. The successful candidate will also contribute to the growth of Augsburg's film and creative writing programs. A Ph.D. or M.F.A. in either film or creative writing, with experience teaching expository writing at the undergraduate level, is required.
