Poppyseed Kolache, a small-press poetry journal, seeks non-rhyming poetry for a 2nd issue.  The editor will consider any well-written poem, including prose poetry, but prefers visual poetry (about 60 lines or less) about or from everyday life. Wants to see poems that move both the heart and the mind and connect a reader's life to the lives of others.  Open to most subjects, but does not want to see rhyming poetry, first drafts, erotica, didactic works, esoteric think pieces, experimental, or greeting card verse.  Editor accepts and considers submissions year 'round, but the best time to submit is from October through April.

(Poems may also be considered for a possible 4th issue of Angel Face, a rosary based poetry publication.  If you do not wish to have your submission considered for Angel Face, please let the editor know in your cover letter.)

To submit, send up to 5 typed poems to:

      MaryAnka Press,

      P.O. Box 102,

      Huffman, Texas 77336.

Please do not submit via e-mail.  Poets retain all rights to their work.  Sample copies available for $7.00, postpaid, but please be sure to make checks payable to the editor, Mary Agnes Dalrymple.  Otherwise the bank will not accept your check.
