- SHORT STORY CONTEST: Ozark Writers League
Regina Williams, editor of Storyteller Magazine,
has agreed to publish the first place winner in
her magazine. Send only your best work. This is
an opportunity to not only have your work
published, but be a nominee for the prestigious
Push Cart Prize. You may, of course, decline
*Fiction, any genre, no more than 1,500 words.
*No graphic violence or sex.
*Double space, at least 12 point font, white
*Do not put author's name on manuscript, but do
put title and page # in upper right corner of
*Attach cover sheet with author's name, address,
phone, and e-mail address, plus 30 word bio. Put
word count and specify it's for the Short Story
*Paper clip manuscript and cover sheet...no
*Entry fee is $5 for non-members, $1 for paid OWL
We will award not only first, second, and third,
but three honorable mentions. Each winner will
receive a certificate plus their name listed on
web page and newsletter. First, second, and
third place winners will also have the
opportunity to have their stories posted on our
website. You may, of course, refuse publication.
Mail manuscript and entry fee in manila envelope

destroyed after contest is over.
