      Job Description: 
      The Department of English at the University of San Francisco invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Creative Nonfiction at the Assistant Professor level to begin in August 2009. 
      Essential Job Responsibilities Primary responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate writing courses in Creative Nonfiction, Introduction to Creative Writing, other creative writing or literature courses, and classes in USF's Freshman Seminar Program. Teaching load is 9 courses over 4 semesters (2/2-2/3). 

      Requirements:
      Qualifications: Ph.D. or MFA, university teaching experience in Creative nonfiction with crossover interests in fiction or other writing genres, evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, significant record of publications, and an understanding of and commitment to support the Mission of the University.
