The Creative Writing Program at New York University invites applications for a Distinguished Fiction Writer in Residence. Position to begin September 1, 2009, pending final administrative and budgetary approval. Evidence of successful teaching at the university level and a strong publication record expected. Duties include teaching graduate and undergraduate workshops and craft classes in fiction, mentoring and advising students, supervising graduate thesis projects, and serving on the graduate admissions committee. The successful candidate will join a prominent writing program and an award-winning faculty.
