      Wesleyan University. The English Department seeks a published fiction writer for a full-time, open rank, tenure-track appointment, beginning July 1, 2009. MFA or the equivalent in publications as well as teaching experience required. The successful candidate will teach two courses per semester. Three of the four classes taught annually will be writing courses, at least two of which will be in fiction. We look forward to hiring a writer who will be an active participant in the life of the writing program, the Department & the entire Wesleyan community.Send letter of application, cv, at least three confidential letters of recommendation, writing sample, & a self-addressed postcard to: Gayle Pemberton, Fiction Search Committee Chair, Department of English, Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT 06459, postmarked no later than September 30, 2008.  No faxes, please.
