      Opera Omaha is celebrating the opening of the world premiere of The Blizzard Voices (composed by Pulitzer Prize winner Paul Moravec based on the poetry of former U.S. Poet Laureate Ted Kooser about the blizzard of 1888) with a call for poems with the theme: what moment in history has inspired you.


      All poems must be submitted by August 1 through the online form at:

      where you can also click on links for more information on the rules and prizes.


      There is a 100 line limit on each entry.
