      Bellevue Literary Review’s 2009 contest is now open:

       

      The Bellevue Literary Review Prizes recognize exceptional writing about health, healing, illness, the mind, and the body.

      First prize is $1000 and publication in the Spring 2009 issue of the Bellevue Literary Review.

       

      $1000 Bellevue Literary Review Goldenberg Prize for Fiction ~~ Judged by Rosellen Brown

      $1000 Bellevue Literary Review Prize for Poetry ~~ Judged by Naomi Shihab Nye

      $1000 Bellevue Literary Review Prize for Nonfiction ~~ Judged by Natalie Angier

       

      Deadline: August 1, 2008

       

      Prose should be limited to 5000 words. Poetry submissions should have no more than 3 poems (max 5 pages). Previously published work cannot be considered. Entry fee is $15 per submission.
