      Bay Days Poetry Contest 2008

      CALL FOR POETRY SUBMISSIONS for DELAWARE BAY DAYS
      Saturday, June 14 & Sunday, June 15, 2008 ~ Hosted by The Bayshore Discovery Project, and held in Bivalve, NJ. 

      POETRY CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONS:

      Deadline for entries is May 10, 2008 ~ Ages 16 to Adult welcomed to enter. No entry fee. No more than 3 entries of 45 lines or less may be entered. Published and unpublished poets are eligible. Entries must reflect a maritime or environmental theme and/or relate to nature or to living/working in the coastal/tidewater communities and estuaries of the Delaware Bay Shore area or Southern New Jersey coast. Each entry must include your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. Be sure to double-check your spelling and punctuation! $$ CASH PRIZES $$ sponsored by the Robbinstown School Public Library will be awarded. Poets may be invited to read at the Saturday, June 9th Awards Ceremony! Winning poems will appear in the "It Ain't Your Granddaddy's Poetry" column of the September/October issue of Inferno: No Boundaries.

      ( Winning poems, or portions thereof - with proper credit given - may be used or displayed by the Bayshore Discovery Project for exhibit or promotional purposes. )
