2007 The North Face® Never Stop Exploring™ Speaker Series
HIMALAYAN CATARACT PROJECT — PETE ATHANS

Pete Athans has summited Mount Everest an astounding seven times, but it’s off the mountain where he is building a far-reaching legacy. Athans serves on the board for the Himalayan Cataract Project, a bold public health initiative that brings eye care to those suffering from Cataract blindness in the Himalaya. Athans, who led a successful HCP expedition in 2005, will share tales of the project, his Everest adventures, and the fulfillment he has found by combining the two.
