Free Workshop: "What Every Author Needs to Know"

California Lawyers for the Arts with the support of Dutton's
Brentwood Books and a grant from the Department of Cultural Affairs
is pleased to present a free workshop entitled, "What Every Author
Needs to Know."
This workshop will be led by Jonathan Kirsch, Esq., Jonathan Kirsch
is a publishing and intellectual property attorney based in Los
Angeles, an expert witness on publishing industry matters, an Adjunct
Professor on the Faculty of New York University's Professional
Publishing Institute, a book review columnist for the Los Angeles
Times, and the author of two books on publishing law and six books on
the Bible as literature and the history of religion.
He will discuss the fundamentals of publishing law. This workshop is
recommended for writers or anyone who is interested in the process of
protecting and publishing books.
