I'm glad this list is up and running. I'm looking forward to seeing our wonderful costuming community grow!
I thought it might be nice if folks introduced themselves, so I'll start the ball rolling.
My name is Heather. I think i've been a CGW member for about 4 years now. I joined because of Costume College, but it's only been in the last year or so that I've started to discover there was so much more to CGW than just Costume College. :) I think my first non-CC event was going to see Wicked with Joyce and taking the amazing backstage tour!!
I started sewing back in college when I joined the SCA. I eventually dropped out of the SCA, but started sewing for Halloween and costume parties. I slowly shifted to movie reproductions (mostly for sci-fi conventions). And now, thanks to CGW, I've come full circle and have started working on historical costumes again.
Most people probably know me from from Costume College, which I attend with my sister who flies in from Atlanta. We're both pretty tall, so we tend to stand out. Here's a great picture Chaz took of us last year:
That's Heidi on the left and me on the right. :)
