Group Description

The purpose of this group is to discuss the Simplified Methylation Protocol developed by Dr Rich Van Konynenburg.

What is the most recent version of the Simplified Methylation Protocol?

Dr Rich made his final revision to the protocol on August 25, 2012. You can read his detailed post about it HERE.

Who was Dr Rich Van Konynenburg and when did he pass away?

Dr Rich was a researcher who became interested in the problem of CFS and the methylation hypothesis around 2007. Over time he became the primary source of wisdom and insight for this group as he continued his research. He passed away on September 25, 2012. If you'd like to read about his life and background you can do so HERE.

How can I learn more about the details of the protocol and his hypothesis?

There is a wealth of information in the files section and you can do a search for keywords in the messages section.

A presentation Dr Rich gave in Sweden is HERE.

(there are links to PDFs of the slides he used in the middle of the webpage)

An interview with Dr Neil Nathan discussing an early version of the protocol and a 9 month study he did with Dr Rich is HERE.

A direct link to their paper on the study is HERE.
