Group Description

The California Central Coast group's goal is to have fun building and operating an On30 modular railroad. The railroad is a freelanced line set in Central California between roughly 1920 and 1940.

In the spirit of "We don't need no stinkin' standards!", we've tried to keep our module specification as minimalist as possible. Rather than invent the wheel, our modular standards were adapted from the Texas Outlaw module standards (with further input from the Narragansett Bay Railway & Navigation Module group, the On30 Gang, the files on On30 Modules, and inspiration from the Yosemite Short Line).

We set up and operate six to eight times a year. We have regular social get togethers (Fun Runs) usually in Morgan Hill and occasionally elsewhere. There are also regular Tuesday evening meetings twice per month.

There is no charter, no bylaws, no officers, no Grand Poobah. We do expect members to respect each other and treat other's property as they would treat their own.

We would like to acknowledge and thank the members of the Texas Outlaws Group, the NBR&N Module group, & the Free-mo.org folks. A group like ours would not be possible without their groundbreaking effort.

NOTE: Our module standard and our event schedule can be found at our web address at: http://www.ccc-on30.org
