      FYI....  for families who have students currently in grades 8 or 9 i.
      We still have room for about 10 more students for Engineering Academy
      (previously Idaho Engineering Science Camp) on June 8-10 at Boise State.
      The deadline has been extended to May 15.  Please notify any students
      that may be interested in attending.

      Engineering Academy * Grades 8-9
      June 8-10, 2008
      Students who are currently in 8th or 9th grade can use hands-on
      activities and projects involving engineering careers, self discovery,
      cooperative learning, critical thinking, and problem solving while
      living on campus in a college dormitory. All food, housing and
      recreational activities are provided. Cost - $200 (scholarships
      available). Application deadline is May 15.

      e-Girls - Grades 9-10
      June 13-14, 2008
      e-Girls is a free overnight program for girls currently in 9th and 10th
      grade. Enrollment is limited to 40 girls. Workshops led by Society of
      Women Engineers professionals and college students may include:
      Biomechanics of Footwear, Packaging and the Environment, Virtual Worlds
      with Alice, Solving Forensic Mysteries, Physics of Rock Climbing/Rope
      Walking, A World of Career Choices, and more! Cost * FREE.
      Application deadline is May 1st.
