- Jun 21 8:41 AMI think I know what you're asking. You need to use a separate parallel port interface to hook to Andrew's adaptor. You will need a "breakout board" or a DB25 connector with solder-on connections. Basically what you need to do is bypass the Roland board. The DB25 cable used to hook to the Roland board, needs to be hooked to Andrew's interface through the ethernet cable. If you want to run Mach 3 you hook the cable to Andrew's interface... If you want to run the Roland software, you hook the cable back up to the Roland board. As for Andrew's interface, you use the pins(ports) from the "breakout board" or DB25 connector and wire those to the ethernet cable as described by Andrew's instruction sheet.
