  • I posted some photos on my blog of the juvenile MAGNIFICENT FRIGATEBIRD found today by Tom Blackman. A big thanks to Tom for the fast breaking newscast! I got to La Jolla a little while later, about 11:45am, and the frigatebird was circling far out to sea over a fishing boat.   • I posted some of the photos taken by Scottie Schmidt of the 2nd-cycle MASKED/NAZCA BOOBY that landed on the Hornblower whale watching trip out of San Diego on 01 Sep 2015.
