    Today an apparent COMMON RINGED PLOVER was being seen at the Davis Wetlands in Yolo County. The bird was found yesterday by Todd Easterla and confirmed today.

      Today an apparent COMMON RINGED PLOVER was being seen at the Davis Wetlands in Yolo County. The bird was found yesterday by Todd Easterla and confirmed today.

      Todd Easterla has additional photos, including showing lack of webbing between the inner toes.

      The bird was also heard, but alas, was silent during 45 minutes of audio recording.

      The Davis Wetlands are open daily 7am to 1pm at the west end of Rd 28H ne of Davis. Drive past the red gate and the yellow gate (which will be latched, but not locked, during these hours).

      An adult RUFF was also present.
