Los Angeles Audubon Society February 9, 2011 monthly meeting

You are cordially invited to attend the general meeting for Los
Angeles Audubon Society, 7:30pm, Wednesday February 9, 2011 in
Plummer Park, 7335 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90046,
room 1 in the West Hollywood Community Hall. Parking is available on
the Santa Monica Blvd. entrance side to the south and the lot behind
LAAS on Fountain Ave. to the north. There is abundant on-street
parking after 7:00pm on the south side of Santa Monica Blvd., across
the street from Plummer Park and the West Hollywood Community Center.
February's presentation: Guy Commeau presents: Birding California Part 2
Guy will be giving a synopsis of his recent travels around
California, showing that there is much to be seen in the great
variety of habitats found in our state. Guy has a great love for
the natural beauty of California, and will show that one can see the
state inexpensively. You will depart the evening with an appreciation
of the broad diversity of flora and fauna California has to offer.

Start gathering your favorite five photos for the June 8, 2011
meeting: Photo Night. Nick and Mary Freeman will feature an ID
workshop on our local owls prior to the photo show.
