at Honey Lake that a couple birders from Chico are out there right now looking.

Subject: Falcated Duck
The falcated duck was observed by six folks on 3-21-02. Time about 1015
hours. Same place as reported previously. In a small pond on the north side
of Fish and Game road in the Flemming unit of the Honey Lake Wildlife Area.
The spot on the road is marked by a yellow and black ribbon tied to a t-post.
About .8 mile east of Mapes Road. The bird tipped two times exposong both
feet. There were no bands.
