To get to Oceano turn off 101 at the Grand Ave. Exit in Arroyo Grande. Go toward the ocean all the way down Grand to Hwy 1 just across the RR tracks--about 2 miles. Turn left. Turn right off Hwy. 1 just past the willows on Coolidge--the first street (not driveway) on the right. Park at the corner with Norswing one block on. Walk in the willows there at the obvious entrance to the trail, turn left. The bird was seen this afternoon almost at the end of the trail in the willows almost to Pier Ave. at trail's end.
