Guest Speaker - Rudy Gelis
With over 1600 species of birds, Ecuador, sitting right on the
Equator offers more bird diversity in less space than any other
country in the world. Gelis is a naturalist, photographer,
researcher, educator and guide for birdwatching throughout Ecuador and
Peru. He is co-author with Murray Cooper of "Plumas: Birds in
Ecuador", a recently published book of fine art photography. He has
also collaborated in numerous publications in ornithology journals.
