      Birders,

Jeff Boyd and Karen Gilbert found a Yellow-green Vireo in DeForest Park in
Long Beach at about 8:30 this morning. It was still present between 9:30
      and 10AM.

The bird was present in eucalyptus and Australian willow trees off the
southwest corner of the tennis courts. It disappeared for extended periods
in the dense canopy, but did make occasional forays to less dense areas
where it was fairly easy to see.

DeForest Park is located in North Long Beach and the parking lot and
tennis courts are closest to the intersection of De Forest Ave. and Janice
      St.
