      Many of the 2008 SoCal Pelagic Trip Reports are now posted at
      http://www.SoCalBirding.com including:

      JANUARY 26 BVAS ¾ day trip from Oceanside (Short-tailed Shearwater,
      45 Rhino Auklets)

      FEBRUARY 9 & 10 San Diego Bird Festival day trips to the Coronados
      Islands and 9-mile bank (Manx Shearwater, Short-tailed Shearwater,
      Masked Booby, Brown Boobies, 1500 Cassin's Auklets)

      MARCH 15 Day Trip on Grande to the Coronados Islands (3 Short-tailed
      Shearwater, White-winged Scoter, 21 Brown Boobies)

      MAY 10 - 12 Grande Double-header: First leg to the Coronados Islands
      and 9-mile bank, then out again to the Tanner & Cortez banks (Ancient
      Murrelet, Skuas, Flesh-footed Shearwater, Red-billed Tropicbird,
      Laysan & Black-footed Albatrosses).

      JUNE 2-6 Searcher Deep Water Expedition (Flesh-footed Shearwater, 11
      Skuas; 3 Laysan Albatross, Sabine's Gull, Arctic Tern)

      JULY 19-21 Buena Vista Audubon Deep Water Trip to the Cortez Bank on
      Grande (Craveri's Murrelet and 22 Xantus's Murrelets – of which 12
      were of the hypoleucus subspecies, 4 Red-billed Tropicbirds circling
      the boat and 6 to 9 Black-footed Albatrosses trailing the boat all
      Sunday.
