The?Bar-tailed Godwit contiuned at Famosa Slough in San Diego County?this morning (03 Oct) from about 09:15 to 10:15. The bird was just south of West Point Loma Blvd and was best viewed (lighting-wise) from the parking lot of the laundromat on the east side of the slough. Thanks to John Puschock for pointing out the Tropical Kingbird on the southwest side of the slough to me. The Yellow-green Vireo was also refound this morning at 11:05 at Memorial Park in Chula Vista. It was not seen all morning (until 11:05) despite a number of people looking. The bird re-appeared in the jacarandas along the sidewalk between the two apartment buildings and was observed for about 10-15 minutes before it was lost in the eucalyptus where the apartment buildings meet the park.
