      > Hi, Seabirders,
      >
      > The Shearwater Journey's pelagic trip from Monterey Bay today had
      > several highlights: PEREGRINE FALCONS (2) were on station along
      > Cannery Row; the female HARLEQUIN DUCK continues in the harbor; a few
      > BLACK-FOOTED ALBATROSSES (4 or 5) are still around; the MANX
      > SHEARWATER which seems to be hanging around Pt Pinos was found about 4
      > miles out today; a single SHORT-TAILED SHEARWATER flew into our wake;
      > a flock of 30 BULLER'S SHEARWATERS seemed poised to head south; off
      > Pleasure Point in Santa Cruz, we spotted the first of 8-10 MARBLED
      > MURRELETS, with up-close views; a single SABINE'S GULL made a brief
      > pass in the late afternoon; and the dolphin & whale show was just
      > spectacular! It was a nice day.
