      Apologies for the cross-posting. The wood-pewee found at Maria Ygnacio Creek
      in Goleta, Santa Barbara County, yesterday, is apparently a Western. Hugh
      Ranson heard the typical burry downslurred "peer" call that is the more
      commonly given element of its song. At least one other usual Western
      vocalization was heard by several people today.

      Still a very rare find for the time of year, although an Eastern would've
      been nice. Of course, think of all that driving some people won't have to
      do.
